Here’s a rarity found around the Vintage King shop - a genuine factory-white API 550A EQ module. Yep, there are a few white API consoles out there. By the late 70’s studios started insisting on black or dark-colored consoles, because the white ones made it way too hard to see the cocaine.
*** CORRECTION: Per former API chief Paul Wolff (now with Tonelux), this is a Brent Averill repaint. The original API factory color was cream, not white.
